More stable than the traditional gondolas, sanpierotta have been used for centuries to let the Venetians move around the city. Start your experience with some onland training to learn how to keep your balance on the water. Then hop aboard your sanpierotta and discover the tricks to gently row, steer and stop on the water.

DAY 4 – LJUBLJANA CITY TOURS

Ljubjana, the capital of Slovenia, is a place where all of Europe meets.
The development of Ljubljana dates back to Roman times, where the fortified Roman settlement of Emona lay on the area of today’s Ljubljana. After Emona was destroyed by Huns, Slavs have arrived and built a town under the present castle hill that developed into medieval Ljubljana. Today Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia with a population of approximately 280’000.
During the Ljubljana tour you will take a walk around the historical city center, and explore all of its major attractions. You will continue with a visit to Ljubljana Castle and treat yourself to beautiful views of the city from the castle’s ramparts.

DAY 6 – POSTOJNA CAVE AND PIRAN

You will go on a 2 hours walk through meadows and forest and seek for truffles, which grow underground.
